A feed is a stream of what happened. The notes you capture, the things you post, and what your agent writes all land in one place, newest first and grouped by day. Every space is made of feeds. There is nowhere else for things to go, so you never have to decide where something belongs before you capture it.

What’s in a feed

A feed holds three kinds of things:
  • Notes. A note is what you capture with Start AI voice note. Each note carries a Summary and a full transcript. See Capture a note.
  • Posts. A post is anything you drop in by hand with Post something: a few lines of text, photos, a scanned document, or a file. See Posts.
  • Agent posts. Your agent writes into the same feed you do. It fills in details under your notes, posts reports on a cadence, and speaks up when something needs a person. The rest of the time it stays out of the way.
Everything in a feed has the same shape, whoever wrote it: who wrote it, when, and what it says. Under each item are the same three actions: a heart, comments, and Ask.

Every space starts with Captures

Every space opens with one feed, called Captures. When you first open Gobi, Captures holds three short posts from your personal agent that explain how Gobi works. Your first note lands right below them. You don’t have to set anything up. If one feed is all you ever use, that works.

Add a feed when things start to pile up

Feeds keep the same kind of thing together, such as invoices, site visits, guest reviews, or end-of-day reports. Once one kind of note keeps showing up, it’s worth giving it a feed of its own.

Open the Feeds sheet

Tap the feed name at the top of Home, next to the arrow.

Add a feed

Tap Add feed and give it a name.

Switch between feeds

The same sheet lists every feed in the space. Tap one to open it. Tap Edit to manage the list.
Make one feed per kind of thing, not one per day or per person. A feed works best when everything in it answers the same question, like “what did we spend?” or “how did today go?”

Where your notes and posts go

Whatever you capture or post lands in the feed you’re looking at. To put something in a different feed, switch to that feed first, then tap +.

Who can see a feed

Who can see a feed depends on which space it’s in. Nothing moves between spaces. A note you capture in your Personal space stays there. To put something in a team feed, capture it or post it in that feed. See What “private by default” means.

Your agent works inside the feed

Tap Ask under any note or post to bring it to your agent as context. In your Personal space, that’s your personal agent. In a team space, it’s the space agent. The space agent answers each person only from feeds that person can see. It never reaches into anyone’s Personal space. See What agents can see.

The numbers on the Feeds sheet

The number next to each feed counts what’s new since you last opened it. It’s the fastest way to see which feed needs a look.

Feed settings

The settings icon at the top right of Home opens settings for the feed you’re in: its name and, in a team space, who can see it. Settings for the whole space live in the Space switcher. See Settings and members.

Feeds, comments, and Messages

Feeds hold what happened. To talk about one note or post, comment on it, so the conversation stays attached to what it’s about. For anything else in a team space, use Messages to reach a teammate, a group, or the space agent directly. In your Personal space there’s no one else to talk to. Chat is your conversation with your personal agent.
