Home and spaces
You cannot start a capture inside a space. Capture happens in Home, always, and sharing is the separate step. See where your captures go.

Channels
Channels organize conversation inside a space, the way they do in a team chat tool. Every space starts with aWelcome to Gobi channel. Post updates, share notes into a channel, and reply in threads.
Channels are public or private, and you choose which when you create one.
A channel header shows which it is, next to the member count:
Public · 4 members. In the channel list, a lock marks the private ones.

Channels and the space agent
The space agent reads the public channels of the space and answers from them anywhere in it. A private channel stays out of that entirely. You can still bring the agent into a private channel by tagging it in a thread. It reads only as much of that thread as the answer needs, and retains nothing. More on what the agent knows in Ask Gobi.Inviting people
Invite from the space’s member settings: copy an invite link and send it anywhere, or add people by email.Roles
Admins manage the space and its members. Members post and share. Admins can promote or demote from member settings, with one guard: the last admin in a space can’t demote themselves.Switching spaces
