PARTIAL. Space and member admin runs in the app, and the screens below are from the V1 design. The gobi-cli help text says “Space and member admin is web-UI only”, which is wrong and needs a fix on the CLI side: the web-only part is the integrations. Still unknown: seats, usage analytics, and what happens to a departing member’s data. Mika for offboarding.
Every space has someone who runs it. This page is for them.

Roles

Admins promote and demote from Space settings → Members. Tap a member’s role to change it, or remove them from the space entirely.

One guard: the last admin can’t demote themselves. The app says so and makes you promote someone else first, so a space is never left without an admin.

Inviting people

Copy an invite link and send it anywhere, share it through another app, or add people by email. All three live in Space settings → Members. What the invitee sees is in join a space.

Add by email searches the people you’ve already captured, so a teammate who’s in your directory is one tap away.

What an admin cannot see

Transcripts and audio of captures they didn’t make. Being an admin doesn’t change this. A capture’s summary is readable by the space; the recording and the word-for-word text stay with the person who recorded. See where your captures go.

Everything above lives in one place: Space setup, Members, Space agent, and a danger zone holding Delete space and Leave space.

Space setup holds the name, the photo, a description, and the space URL (https://<name>.gobispace.com). The URL takes lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes.

The space agent

Each space has its own agent, configured under Space settings → Space agent.
  • Agent name. What it’s called in this space.
  • Agent prompt. How it should behave. Gobi takes this into account for business intelligence.
  • Model. Auto (default), or pick one: Fable 5, Gemini 3.1 Pro, GPT-5.5, GPT-5.4, GPT-5.2, Opus 4.8, Opus 4.7.
  • Access. Web search and All sources, each a toggle.
  • Reset agent. Clears the agent’s memory and history for the entire space. Every member gets the cleared agent.

Integrations

Slack, Teams, Google Drive, and the rest connect from the web app. That part isn’t in the phone app.

  • Offboarding. What happens to a departing member’s notes and their captures’ voiceprints.
  • Usage and analytics. Whether admins get any view of this at all.
