## About Gobi

    questions about. It's built for people whose work happens
    face-to-face — the conversations that used to evaporate become
    the memory you work from.

## Capturing

  <Accordion title="Do the people around me know I'm capturing?">
    That's yours to make true, and it matters: capture works best
    in the open. Tell people, show them the screen, and know your
    local rules — [capturing with people around](/capture/with-people-around)
    covers how to do this well.

  <Accordion title="Does capture work offline?">
    No — capturing needs a connection. If you're headed somewhere
    signal goes to die, worth knowing before the conversation
    starts rather than after.

  <Accordion title="What about conversations in other languages — or two at once?">
    Gobi handles them, including the conversations that drift
    between languages mid-sentence. Capture the meeting the way
    it actually happened; the Summary comes out the other side.

  <Accordion title="How does capture hold up somewhere loud?">
    Better than you'd expect. A busy restaurant or a trade-show
    floor is normal working conditions for Gobi, not an edge
    case — keep your phone reasonably close to the conversation
    and the transcript holds up.

  <Accordion title="Does Gobi recognize who's in the room?">
    No. You add [attendees](/summary/attendees) to a Summary
    yourself, and Gobi links the names you use across your
    captures — the people model is yours, built by hand, which is
    exactly why it's trustworthy.

## Summaries

  <Accordion title="Can I edit a Summary?">
    Yes. A [Summary](/summary/overview) is yours to correct — fix
    what the model misread, tighten what matters, and keep
    [attendees](/summary/attendees) accurate. The Summary is your
    version, not the machine's.

## Privacy

  <Accordion title="Who can see my captures?">
    You — that's the whole list. Captures live in your private
    Home until you [deliberately share one](/spaces/share-a-capture),
    and sharing sends the Summary only: your transcript, notes,
    and attachments stay home. The full picture is in

  <Accordion title="Is my data used to train AI models?">
    No. Your conversations aren't training material — not for our
    models, not for anyone's. Details in

  <Accordion title="Do you sell my data?">
    No. Not to advertisers, not to brokers, not to anyone.

  <Accordion title="Can I get my data out — or wipe it?">
    Both, completely: [export or delete](/privacy/export-or-delete)
    covers taking everything with you and deleting a capture or
    your whole account.

## Spaces

  <Accordion title="Does joining a space expose my captures?">
    No. Joining adds a place you *can* share into — nothing more.
    Your Home stays yours, and the space sees only what you
    [post into it](/spaces/share-a-capture), one capture at a
    time.

  <Accordion title="Can I be in more than one space?">
    Yes — as many as your life has teams. Each space is separate:
    its own members, its own channels, its own
    [agent](/spaces/space-agent), and nothing crossing between
    them.

  <Accordion title="What does the space agent know about me?">
    Only what its space was given. It never sees your Home, and
    it answers each member only from the channels they're in —
    [what agents can see](/privacy/what-agents-can-see)
    draws the full map.

## Account

  <Accordion title="How much does Gobi cost?">
    Gobi is free to use right now. If that changes, you'll hear
    it from us plainly — not discover it from a paywall.

  <Accordion title="Can I use Gobi on more than one phone?">
    Yes — sign in on both and your Home is the same Home
    everywhere. Your account is the thing; the phone is just
    where you're holding it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I connect my own agent or CLI?">
    Generate a token in **Account settings → Connect with
    agents** and follow
    [connect your agent](/getting-started/connect-your-agent) —
    three steps, and the token expires in 24 hours if unused.

  <Accordion title="Something's broken. Where are the humans?">
