# Quick start

> From download to your first Summary in under two minutes.

Gobi turns your conversations, meetings, and thoughts into a
private, accumulating memory. Here's the fastest path to seeing it
work.

    Gobi is available on both iPhone and Android:

    * **iOS**: install from the
      [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/gobi-in-person-capture/id6477150074).
    * **Android**: install from
      [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joingobi).

    Sign in, and you're on **Home** — your personal core.

  <Step title="Capture something real">
    Tap the **+** button and start a capture. Your next
    conversation, a meeting, or just you thinking out loud —
    anything with words in it works. The transcript appears live as
    you speak. Pause if you need to; tap stop when you're done.

      Nothing scheduled? Describe your day for thirty seconds. It's
      enough to see what happens next.

  <Step title="Your first Summary arrives">
    The moment you stop, Gobi gets to work — and shortly after, your
    capture becomes a Summary: the one thing that mattered, where
    things stand, what's worth noting, and the next steps — with the
    full transcript one tab away. Your Inbox taps you when it's
    ready. Add your own notes underneath; they live alongside what
    Gobi wrote.

    Open **AI Chat** and ask your personal agent something about
    what you just captured — "what did I say about the timeline?" It
    answers from your core. Every capture from here on makes it
    smarter.
