# Ways to capture

**Everything starts at the `+` button**, in your [Home](/privacy/your-captures).

| **Record a conversation**   | The AI notetaker listens to the room and turns it into a note       | [AI notetaker](/capture/ai-notetaker) |
| **Snap a photo**            | A photo, captured on its own                                        |                                       |

An existing recording made somewhere else comes in through [import audio](/capture/import-audio).

## Inside a capture

Photos and files also attach to a capture that's already running, from the options sheet: `Take photo`, `From photo library`, `Add files`. Useful for a whiteboard, a badge, or a business card. See [AI notetaker](/capture/ai-notetaker).

## Hands-free

Pairing a Gobi Sense lets you capture without taking your phone out. **Account settings → Device → Pair a device.** See [account settings](/account/overview).
