# Account settings

> Your profile, appearance, and how to reach us.

## Your profile

Set a photo, your name, job title, job description, and LinkedIn. **Gobi uses what's here as context when it writes about your work.**

**Your email is fixed and can't be edited.** It comes from the Google or Apple account you signed in with.

## Appearance

Choose `Light`, `Dark`, or `System setting`. This applies to Gobi on the device you set it on, not to your account everywhere.

## Language

The language Gobi listens for, and the language it writes your notes in. See [Languages](/capture/languages).

## Device

`Pair a device` connects a Gobi Sense so you can capture hands-free, without taking your phone out. If you don't have one yet, `Order now` takes you to the store. See [ways to capture](/capture/ways-to-capture).

## Use my data to improve models

A toggle, **on by default**. Your data is anonymized and used to improve the experience for Gobi users, and `Learn more` explains what that covers. **Turn it off and your captures stay out of that entirely**; nothing else about the app changes.

## Getting help

* `Help center` opens these docs.
* `Send feedback` opens an email to `support@joingobi.com`.
* `Report a bug` does the same, and asks whether to attach your app logs. Logs help us find the problem; you can send the report without them.
* `Gobi community` opens the community.
* `Referrals` is where you invite other people to Gobi.

## Deleting your account

**Settings → Account → Danger zone → Delete account.** This permanently removes your data, including your posts and your agent chat history. It can't be undone.
