# Notifications

> Choose what reaches you, and how.

Five switches, in **Account settings → Notifications**.

| Switch                                | When it reaches you                                                             |
| ------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **`Push notifications`**              | The master switch for real-time pushes on your phone                            |
| **`Mentions`**                        | When someone tags you, or replies to you. The one most people want on           |
| **`All activities in space`**         | Every post and reply in the space. Useful in a quiet space, noisy in a busy one |
| **`Space digest`**                    | An email digest of what's happening, instead of a notification per event        |
| **`Announcements and update emails`** | News and product updates from Gobi. Nothing to do with your space's activity    |

  **Turning notifications off doesn't hide anything.** It all still shows up in [Activity](/spaces/activity) whenever you open it.
